A former state bank transitions into a private commercial bank. Our task was to raise awareness about this transformation and highlight the successful shift from public-sector ownership to exclusively private-sector shareholders — an unprecedented move in the German banking sector. This milestone marks the beginning of a new era for the institution, now known as Hamburg Commercial Bank.
The new corporate identity for the bank was thoughtfully crafted with a strong graphic focus. We based the print ad concept on the geometric shapes and color palette found in the CI, incorporating other familiar elements from the financial world. Combined with bold typography, this approach resulted in a completely fresh style of bank advertising.
