The introduction of the Volkswagen Arteon marked a new direction in the car design at Volkswagen. For the launch we did a product film and a photo shoot to show off the new design and all the features the car has. Before the car was introduced at the Genfer Auto-Salon we started a teaser phase showing close-up and detail shots of the car on social media to mark the countdown of the launch.

The new Arteon with stop and stare function

The concept for the launch film was to capture people so captivated by the car’s striking new design that they paused whatever they were doing to take a second look. To elevate the car’s impact for the viewer, we incorporated the mechanics of the internet phenomenon known as the "split-depth GIF." This technique added a dynamic, immersive effect, making the car and its design even more unforgettable.
